The Challenge: A multi-location medical practice was drowning in paper timesheets. They were spending too much time and money every month on equipment, supplies, and processing time across multiple offices. Employees had no visibility into their PTO balances and frequently over- or under-estimated their available time off.
The Solution: Using their existing Microsoft 365 subscription (no additional software costs!), I built a custom timeclock widget integrated directly in their team SharePoint with integrated PTO tracking, predictive end-of-year carryover calculations, and automated payroll reporting. Employees could clock in/out from any device, view real-time PTO balances, and plan ahead with accuracy.
The Results:
The Challenge: A local 501(c)(3) nonprofit was using free Gmail accounts, struggling with board meeting coordination, and had no efficient system to capture and respond to volunteer applications. This made them look unprofessional to donors and caused them to lose eager volunteers due to slow response times.
The Solution: I implemented Microsoft 365 for Nonprofits (free through TechSoup), set up professional email addresses on their own domain, configured Microsoft Teams for seamless board meetings with recording and file sharing, and created a volunteer application process with automated workflows to notify staff and track volunteer status. Each Director now has their own login with their own email to focus on their assigned tasks.

The Solution: I implemented a complete Microsoft 365-based project management system featuring custom SharePoint lists for project tracking, a PowerApps interface with built-in workflow rules and USPS address validation for data quality, Power Automate workflows for automated alerts and updates, custom SPFx web components for executive dashboards, and a PowerApps timesheet application for accurate billable hours tracking.
